The 10 commandments say you must not commit adultery so why isn't rape condemned also?

The ten commandments are seriously lacking. The first four aren't crimes and don't pertain to anyone but believers. I often wondered why rape was left off, perhaps because the bible was full of rape and seems to not take issue with it all that much. Adultery isn't even something we now consider a crime. I also think pedophilia and animal cruelty were overlooked just to mention a couple more things missing.
