What did his friend mean by this?

His friend sounds like an idiot but if your boyfriend isn't pressuring you about it and you guys are honest to eachother then you shouldn't feel insecure about what his friend wrote. Guys communicate differently to eachother then women do, I doubt your boyfriend told his friend in detail about the personal business.
