Condemned for not reading the bible?

There are Bibles rewritten in simple, everyday language. If you have still difficulties reading, you can probably find the Bible on tape, since you say you enjoy listening to Biblical readings. There are easy ways I guess to get to the text, which is very beautiful and enriching for the mind and soul.
